Sechelt Developer Recognized in Recent Awards

Wakefield Beach Homes in Sechelt was recognized in the recent fourth annual Wood Design Awards, winning an award for "Interior Beauty of Wood".

The jury noted that the Wakefield Beach homes have an "innovative design that used wood for all framing and roof structures with curving vault roofs formed by fir posts, beams and decking."

Exposed wood surfaces and details give the buildings visual warmth, making them a joy to inhabit.

Fir log posts, maple flooring, wood trim, cabinets and doors, combined with cedar shingles, cedar exterior trims and decks and cedar landscaping screens and split cedar fences put this multi-family project in a league of its own," the jury stated in a press release.
