Sheila Pope

I have lived on the Sunshine Coast for almost 30 years.  My husband, Jack, and I came over here to do his 4 month student practicum for teaching.  We didn't leave!!

It has been a wonderful place to raise our 3 sons, who are now in their twenties.  We have all appreciated the privilege of living in such a clean and beautiful environment. My educational background consists of a degree in Political Science from U.B.C. plus a degree in Urban Land Economics (Appraisal option), also from U.B.C. I have worked in banking, assessment authority, appraisal, and currently the marketing of real estate for the past 16 years.  I have enjoyed so much the clientele with whom I have worked - it is the relationship that one builds with others in this job that makes it so rewarding.

I sincerely believe that our homes are our restorative places and should provide sanctuary from the busy world around us.  Helping people find their own homes, cottages, or future investment properties has been challenging and fun.  I always look forward to meeting new people and engaging in a work relationship with them.

Life is more than just work though: my hobbies include hiking, gardening, kayaking, reading, and quilting.  Hopefully, there will always be a good balance to allow for some of these great pastimes!!!
